By accessing or using Echo ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
Description of Service
Echo is a sermon content management platform that allows churches and religious organizations to record sermons, generate AI-powered content, and distribute that content to their congregation through various channels including email newsletters, social media, and websites.
Account Registration
To use Echo, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Echo only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Send spam or unsolicited communications
- Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use the service for any illegal activity
- Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
Content Ownership
Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to Echo, including sermon recordings, transcriptions, and congregation data. By using Echo, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
AI-Generated Content
Content generated by Echo's AI features (summaries, newsletters, curriculum, etc.) based on your sermons is owned by you. You may use this content for any purpose related to your ministry.
Subscription and Payment
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually based on your chosen plan
- Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis
- Failure to pay may result in service suspension
Email Sending
When using Echo to send emails to your congregation, you agree to:
- Only send emails to individuals who have opted in to receive communications
- Honor all unsubscribe requests promptly
- Comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other applicable email regulations
- Not use the service to send spam or misleading communications
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We will provide advance notice when possible.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Echo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your purposes. You should review all generated content before distribution.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law
